About Nicole

nicole is an independent writing project launched in February 2026.

This site is where I formulate and test my thinking about the world as it is, and the world as it might be. The writing spans technology, society, work, politics, and the outdoors, with a focus on how we navigate change without losing care, skill, or responsibility.

It is also a learning space. Many pieces are written not as finished positions, but as working thoughts. I expect to revise my views over time, and I welcome being questioned where assumptions, gaps, or blind spots exist.

My background is in technology and community-led outdoor spaces, which shapes how I approach problems: looking for systems, trade-offs, and long-term consequences rather than quick answers.

This is not a news site or a manifesto. It is a place to slow ideas down, to challenge my own thinking, and to explore practical ways forward in a period that often rewards certainty over reflection.
